To say that I’m over the moon about the cover for Raus! Untoten! 2 is a classic British understatement. I’ve had this sitting on my mac for a couple of days and have taken the odd peek. Every time that I’ve looked at it, I’ve loved it. This is based on an old World War Two poster that – even without the undead features – was sufficiently spooky and unsettling for me to immediately think “I want that!”.
The artist, Jason Zerillo, has taken my brief and re-imagined the image perfectly. I can’t wait to see what this looks like with titles etc on it. If you like the image, PLEASE like the page so that you can be kept up-to-date with when book two launches!
Love it! 🙂

Definitely evocative of the old WW2 posters. Maybe all of the covers should be that, twisted versions of classic posters?

This one was inspired by a propaganda poster that was just as spooky!

Those posters were all kind of a bit weird. 1940s version of photoshop fails maybe?

Love the cover – all the more striking for its dark, bare understatement! Am I right in thinking the publishing schedule for the Raus Untoten volumes has been revised, with more volumes planned? Maybe you can e-mail me with details about what’s happening

Is this James Mason by any chance? 🙂 No profile on your comment I’m afraid! 🙂

Oops sorry – no, it’s James Downs. Congratulations on the Alternative Realities post by the way – well deserved, and an excellent way to hone your editing skills for the next Raus Untoten volumes
