The lost promise of a sausage bap

I’m sat in the Crediton Coffee Company, waiting for my eldest to finish the first of her dance classes.

Last night I said I would take her as I like Kirton Games and thought I would visit there and then get a bit of a fry up, or a sausage bap with coffe and the ever essential brown sauce.

As we were walking to the class we passed the Crediton Coffe Company, which showed great promise.

‘We don’t do food. You can have a cake, or a sausage roll.’

Being English I couldn’t just turn around and leave.

So, tears welling up I swallowed my devastation and just got the coffee. And so I’m sat here in the sun contemplating the bitter taste of a sausage bap that never was.
