New Year, new start

Which is really quite a pretentious title, but for a certain aspect of my life is most certainly true.

A couple of years ago, I decided to singlehandedly launch a publishing business. Unfortunately I didn’t get the interest I needed and I was then ill from October 2015 through to still (only much, much less so).

However, whilst doing all the preparation, and editing jobs for other independent publishers, I was fortunate enough to meet Stewart Hotston, who has jumped on board with me to make 2016 the year that Alternative Realities is given a new start.

We’ve had numerous facebook chats, tweets, emails, and pigged out at Bodean’s BBQ and the result is that we have agreed on the two anthologies we want to publish this year, a list of ‘would be nice to have authors’ and a calm and considered approach that won’t see us overstretching ourselves and burning out faster than a moth in napalm.
