Well, I must be doing something write – deliberate pun there, funny n’est ce pas? – because since I said at Christmas “This year I’m going to get published”, I have indeed been published and will in fact be published at least three more times now as well.
On top of that, I received an email INVITING me to submit to an invite-only anthology, because they like my writing and I’m one of their ‘favourite’ authors. Chuffed? Damn right! The project itself is Top Secret and I’d have to use my real-life bomb-making, hand-to-hand combat, marksman and knife fighting skills to kill you, your loved ones and even your acquaintances if I told you what it was about. Rest easy in that it’s 1) Truly unique 2) Features two things that are quite literally people’s favourite topics 3) bloody quirky.
Once I’ve finished my Steampunk Hunters story for a Dark Monocle submission, I shall be writing my little fingers off for this. Can’t bloody wait 🙂
